The Welch/Brooke history
Over 100 years of History and know how...
It is no mean coincidence that today Denis Welch Motorsport specialise in six and four cylinder racing engines.
Jeremy Welch's great grandfather built the first six cylinder engine ever made in the UK in 1906 and went on to build Brooke Marine racing engines with notable success.
The families involvement in the competition side of motor racing extends back over 100 years to the days of the pioneers.
Today the development programme is headed by Jeremy’s highly successful Big Healey (Reg KVS 484), one that has seen success all over Europe. He has also built works cars and developed specialist racing solutions for many marques.
The collective experience of the organisation that he heads has extended from Ford Anglias, single seaters, sports racing cars, to 24hr Touring Cars and beyond.
Running these cars has resulted in a world conquering array of parts that quite simply guarantees success to almost anyone. Many of these parts have been exclusively designed and engineered by Jeremy in person
